Abstract
El presente trabajo es original y
deriva del marco teórico de la tesis
“El fenómeno senderista en España”
(Sánchez, 2014). Desde
2014 hasta la actualidad (curso
2018-2019) se ha ampliado nuestro
estudio a partir de 3 proyectos internos
subvencionados sobre senderismo
y la pertenecía al Consejo
Científico-asesor de las Montañas
dependiente de la Federación Española
de deportes de Montaña.
El senderismo en España al
igual que Europa se ha convertido
en una de las actividades físicorecreativas
más importantes de
nuestra sociedad. Los enfoques de
práctica superan las motivaciones
deportivas para incorporar objetivos
turísticos, de calidad de vida,
de movilidad no motorizada o del
desarrollo rural, por citar algunos
ejemplos. Por otra parte, coexiste
perfectamente con otras prácticas
complementarias (carreras de
montaña, vías ferratas, Btt, equitación…)
lo que lo convierten en un
verdadero fenómeno social.
De nuestro trabajo previo, se
concluyó que la preocupación
máxima de los gestores es conocer
el perfil de los usuarios senderistas.
Presentaremos pues nuestros
datos al respecto organizados en:
Ø La Justificación de la necesidad
de conocer al practicante.
Ø La caracterización del senderista
Ø El Dilema: senderistas con
vinculación montañismo vs.
senderista sin vinculación
montañismo.
Ø El concepto de Colectivos
senderistas.
Como herramientas de investigación
se utilizaron entrevistas en
profundidad a expertos, observación
participante, grupos de discusión
y análisis documental.
The present work is original and derives from the theoretical framework of the thesis "The walking phenomenon in Spain" (Sánchez, 2014). From 2014 to the present (course 2018-2019) our study has been extended from 3 internal projects subsidized on hiking and belonged to the Scientific Counciladvisor of the Mountains dependent on the Spanish Mountain Sports Federation. Hiking in Spain, like Europe, has become one of the most important physical-recreational activities of our society. Practical approaches overcome sports motivations to incorporate tourism objectives, quality of life, non-motorized mobility or rural development, to name a few examples. On the other hand, it coexists perfectly with other complementary practices (mountain races, via ferrata, Btt, riding ...) which make it a true social phenomenon. From our previous work, it was concluded that the maximum concern of the managers is to know the profile of the walking users. We will therefore present our data on this subject organized in: Ø • The Justification of the need to know the users. Ø • The characterization of the hiker. Ø • The Dilemma: hikers with mountaineering connection vs. hikers without mountaineering connection. Ø • The concept of hiking Collectives. As research tools, deep interviews with experts, participant observation, discussion groups and documentary analysis were used.
