Pensar y hacer hoy ética profesional

Abstract

El presente artículo continúa una de las líneas de investigación que hemos venido desarrollando en los últimos años (1991, 2008, 2010, 2010-2012). En él se analiza el papel de la ética profesional en la Universidad ante la crisis actual de la economía española, siguiendo la tradición filosófica de las grandes concepciones educativas; se caracteriza la relación ética entre profesores y estudiantes universitarios; se critica la orientación economicista en la planificación actual de los currículos, y, por último, se postula el empoderamiento de la autonomía y la responsabilidad de los estudiantes como la clave para el ejercicio ético de sus profesiones.

The present article keeps on with one of the lines of research that we have been developing during these recent years (1991, 2008, 2010, 2010-2012). It analyses the role of professional ethics in the university in the light of the current Spanish economic crisis, following the philosophical tradition of the great educational conceptions; It characterizes the ethical relation between university lectures and pupils; it criticizes the economic point of view in the current planning of curriculum vitae; and to conclude, it postulates autonomies empowerment and the responsibility of students as the key for ethical exercise of their jobs.
