La educación en Millán-Puelles: generar espacios de libertad, de humanización

Abstract

El hombre es un ser inacabado y, por ello, puede ir perfeccionándose. Se trata de una perspectiva de la educación que concibe al hombre como un ser inteligente y libre, dueño de sus actos, único e irrepetible, dirigido a unos fines, perfectible, sujeto natural de derechos y deberes. Se considera la perfección del hombre como una conformación recta de la libertad humana, ya que esta puede responder a las exigencias naturales de nuestro modo específico de ser. Es la educación la que realiza esta humanización, este ser más hombre, de modo que nos vamos haciendo “a golpe de libertad”.

Human person is an unfinished being, therefore he or she can go being perfected. It is a perspective of the education that conceives the human person as intelligent and free, owner of his or her acts, unique and irreplaceable, directed to aims, perfectible, natural subject of rights and duties. The perfection of human person is considered to be a correct conformation of human freedom, since this one can answer to the natural requirements of our specific way of being. It is education that performs this humanization: the fact of being more human, in a way that we are building ourselves by blows of freedom.
