Durante o medievo floresceu o culto a Santa Bárbara.

It is proposed that the composition of the Legenda Beate Barbare Virginis et Martiris by Juan Gil was associated by the traditions he received, his performance as a Franciscan, his schooling, the purposes of writing the abbreviated legendary, his personal and institutional relationships and commitments, and by events in the context in which he lived.en
