La hepatitis B es una enfermedad vírica y una de las causas más
importantes en el desarrollo de enfermedades hepáticas. En 2016 la OMS publicó
su estrategia con el objetivo eliminar las hepatitis víricas, una amenaza para la
salud pública en 2030. El objetivo consiste en analizar la evolución de la hepatitis B crónica en el área sanitaria del Hospital General entre 2019-2020. Definir la prevalencia, el estado serológico
mayoritario de infección y detectar a los pacientes candidatos a tratamiento.
