Comparación de las distintas técnicas quirúrgicas en la reparación valvular mitral

Abstract

La insuficiencia mitral es la segunda valvulopatía más frecuente globalmente y su prevalencia se estima en un 2,5%. Ante la necesidad de tratar esta patología, se han desarrollado nuevas técnicas quirúrgicas recientemente. El objetivo consiste en analizar qué tipo de cirugía ofrece mejores resultados según el tipo de etiología de la insuficiencia mitral.

Mitral valve regurgitation is the second most frequent valvulopathy and its global prevalence its estimate to be around 2’5%. Given the need to treat this pathology new surgical techniques have been recently developed. The main objective of the study is to analyze what surgery offers better results according to the type of etiology of the mitral regurgitation.
