Fue uno de los primeros compuestos en ser identificado como disruptor endocrino y recientemente ha ganado popularidad en el mundo científico como factor de riesgo de obesidad y diabetes debido a su capacidad para imitar a los estrógenos naturales y unirse a sus receptores. El objetivo consiste en estudiar la posible relación existente entre el disruptor endocrino bisfenol A y su papel en la alteración del metabolismo de la insulina y la obesidad.es

It was one of the first compounds to be identified as an endocrine disruptor and has recently gained popularity in the scientific field as a risk factor for obesity and diabetes due to its ability to mimic natural estrogens and bind to their receptors. The main objective is to study the possible relationship between the endocrine disruptor bisphenol A and its role in obesity and the alteration of the insulin metabolism.en
