Cuidados paliativos de úlcera atípica en pierna por linfoma de células t.

Abstract

Se presenta un caso clínico de una mujer de 28 años que presentó nódulos en una pierna que fue evolucionando hasta una úlcera atípica causada por linfoma cutáneo de células T. El tumor diagnosticado y el fracaso del tratamiento quimioterápico y radioterápico finalizó con el fallecimiento de la paciente al cabo de 24 meses del inicio. Los cuidados paliativos realizados en este caso clínico ayudan a comprender mejor el esfuerzo terapéutico en este tipo de lesiones (úlceras de origen tumoral).

A clinical case is presented of a 28-year-old woman who presented with nodules on one leg that progressed to an atypical ulcer caused by cutaneous T-cell lymphoma. The diagnosed tumor and the failure of chemo-traumatic and radiotherapeutic treatment ended with the death of the patient 24 months after onset. The palliative care performed in this clinical case helps to better understand the therapeutic effort in this type of lesions (ulcers of tumor origin).
