Antropología tomista. Una respuesta al estatus del ser humano presentado por la ciencia y la filosofía moderna

Abstract

Los interrogantes de la antropología descubren en la búsqueda de la verdad (Kant) que existen dos vías hacia el infinito: el mundo sensible y el invisible (ley moral). Sin embargo, con Santo Tomás se da una unión de razón y fe que, respetando la autonomía de ambas, busca una única verdad en el ser del hombre. El enfoque de Santo Tomás sobre el acto (hábito y ciencia) es existencial y metafísico a la vez.

The questions posed by anthropology discover in the search for truth (Kant) that there are two ways towards the infinite: the world of the senses and the invisible one (moral law). In Saint Thomas there is nevertheless a combination of reason and faith which seeks a single truth in man’s being while respecting the independence of them both. Saint Thomas’s approach to the act (habit and science) is existential and metaphysical at the same time.
