The current state of the concept of learning strategies: a bibliometric approach

Abstract

The present work resorts to the bibliometric analysis to determine the current status of the concept learning strategies. It allows us to know which authors, universities and scientific journals are the most productive in this area of study. Moreover, the bibliometric analysis provides us with information about the department affiliations of the most successful authors, the evolution of productivity per years, the most common type of publication and publishers countries of these publications, and descriptors associated with the term learning strategy. Finally, we attempt to identify the most frequently used questionnaires in the evaluation of the learning strategies, and the index of collaboration and adaptation of works to the Lotka law.

El presente trabajo recurre al análisis bibliométrico para conocer el estado actual del término estrategias de aprendizaje, de modo que permite conocer qué autores, instituciones universitarias y revistas científicas son las más productivas en este ámbito de estudio. Por otra parte, el análisis bibliométrico permite conocer las afiliaciones departamentales de los autores más fructíferos, la evolución temporal de la productividad por años, el tipo de publicación más frecuente, así como los países editores de estas publicaciones y los descriptores asociados al término estrategia de aprendizaje. Finalmente, se analiza cuáles son los cuestionarios más utilizados en la evaluación de las estrategias de aprendizaje y se analiza el índice de colaboración y la adecuación de los trabajos a la ley de Lotka.
